I adding here for those who feel a bit underwhelmed, or overwhelmed, or possibly you are fine, missing something, wishing for, all that is with December, adding all of us still coming off of, that seems it hasn't even started yet, the fake news, the election..phooey.
A good friend of mine, his favorite all time music artist is John Denver. He, I am thinking of this Christmas. He now lives in Germany. I pray he is safe.
I grew up listening to John Denver;s songs, that were played on my dad's favorite AM radio station. I truly missed out on some great songs, he, him an musician, a true American artist. He born in 1944, he died at the age,of 56, way too soon. 1997 he died
Back to my friend, he offered to me, years ago, if you are ever in need of a hug, listen to John Denver,... he grounds me. I do believe my friend Bradley is correct. John Denver has magic in his guitar, his voice one in none.
John Denver live at the Apollo - year 1982
Chris, you and Denver have a lot in common. He was born in N.Mexico,he lived in Tucson, and California, Colorado. Each of you are stand alone, no one to compare you to, this is a good thing. He too a messenger.
I hope you listen to the concert, sometimes we need to sing out loud, embrace an old friend, even when they live on the other side of the planet. Enjoy All
