If I think an alt coin is going to skyrocket, how much money should I invest to see a decent return?

I think it depends on how you're investing, most would recommend that you use a very small part of your portfolio to speculate. So if you have 1000.00$ portfolio you might only use 10%-20% (100.00-200.00$) to speculate/trade.

Honestly most people go heavy though, and it depends on your own research and risk appetite. Also are you applying technical analysis to help your fundamental analysis/view, TA is important to know and add towards your plays.

In regards to a more traditional outlook on crypto, you would want to hold at least 60% Bitcoin and Ethereum. In the end it's all your choice, good luck friend. Take into account CGs "how to build a portfolio" video, it will definitely help.

Thank you for the info. I have diversified my portfolio like CG suggested and keep most of my cryptos on my nano s and nano x but I like keeping small bits of my coins on coinbase just to exchange one for another as I see fit.

Does anyone know if I can use Acorns Visa debit card to purchase bitcoin? He mentioned that Chase won't allow the transaction and I have no idea if Chase owns a stake in Acorns.
