Oh Lord i just bought my first bitcoin ...and downloaded to trezor. does it take a while as it says "pending" on coinbase ?

Congratulations...kind of scares you but u can test the process using an address before you transfer by using a frractional (ie: 0.002 amount) sending to an exchange when you get ready to trade, then follow with amount you would like to trade in divided amounts to get a feel for timing. It can vary from 10 minutes to hours (Coinbase or its GDAX exchange can be in downgrades due to congestion of the block chain from high volumes, or maintainance)...the transaction difficulties at this phase of Crypto remind me of the MS-DOS era of the Internet development before Microsoft Windows evolved from innovator Bill Gates.

Thanks smilie, that is good advice i appreciate that, i wanted to dive in the pool and get wet, now on a learning curve for the long haul. Now i have some btc on coinbase, can i now go to GDAX to lighten further charges ?
