Just how close to the end do you really think we are .
Just join this evening still learning how to use this.
If the end is a specific day, who can say except God? The signs seem to indicate we are already in end-times, but I remember guys with signs on the street in the '70s saying "The End is Near". I guess "end-times" could last a while.... There is the Saint Malachy prophecy that Pope Benedict XVI was the second-to last pope before the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. That would make Pope Francis either the "last" pope, or the "false" pope (I'm leaning toward "false" pope). Oh, and Rome falls to the antichrist. So, Rome's destruction would be a big heads-up!
The St. Malachy prophecy says "Peter the Roman" is the last pope, who pastures his sheep in the papacy's tribulation, as Rome becomes the seat of the antichrist. Another prophecy indicates Saint Peter, himself, will minister to those abandoned by the church.
Everyone seems to be into spending lots of money and time on prepping these days, but the thing that sticks in my head is this. Let's say a couple in their sixties (example) buys a basement full of emergency food and water, medical and first aid supplies, and even an exspensive solar generator. They feel ready to survive many things and this brings them a feeling of safety. Then when the disaster hits and people panic because they have no food, no water, no power what do you think will happen? What will happen when marauding armed hungry people are out searching for a way to take care of their families and they notice the nice old couple across town has lights in their House? What happens when some thugs realize that those old people have food and water? Grandma and grandpa will probably be attacked, robbed , and left for dead. So prepping is only going to help people like Rambo types who are capable of defending everything they have. Even owning a gun doesn't mean you are safe. I am just hoping that the disaster takes me out quickly. 'My so glad that I am saved and have put my faith in Jesus.
We are all fighting so hard against globalism and the One World Order because none of us want to live in that nightmare, but what does the bible say? God's word says that it is definitely going to happen. It tells of a dictator who will rule over the world before the end. Are we just trying to postpone this as long as we can? That is funny because man does not decide God's timeline. We can't ad or subtract a single day from what He has set in motion. It would be better to spend our time spreading the news of salvation, and to work out our relationship with our God. Whether we are under one party or the other sadly won't stop or even postpone what God has set in motion. I really trust our President to do good things for our country but stopping the fullfillment of prophecy is beyond even his abiliy.
Thank you. The fear-mongering gets overwhelming at times. Living each day as faithfully as possible is so much better-feeling than paranoia. Cheaper, too ;)
