I'm sure you agree, a lot of people think we're cracked. I went to Walmart the other day and bought 50 bags of pasta, (1$ a pop 900 g bags good for 2 years. You should stock up. It's great for the price) the lady at the cash had to ask what I was doing with all the pasta? And I told her I was stocking up for a worst case scenario global economic shutdown. clearly she thought I was nuts. But here's the thing. We live on an island that is completely dependant on imports. We do nothing for ourselves... with all this land and very few farms. This place would run out of food in days. Not weeks.

Good thing here is we have a huge moose population, and many hunters. People are awesome to each other here more than anywhere else, I'd say in the entire world. We are used to hard times here.
