What course of action should be implement in response to the revelations about the IPhones?

I called AT&T wireless and asked if the CIA/NSA retrieves data from my wife's phone who pays for it-me or the government? The rep said that based on their IP address AT&T knows where that data is going (CIA/NSA) and knows not charge me for the data.

I don't know if the rep was just speculating or in fact knows that as a fact.

Does that mean if they want to keep an eye on you they don't charge you for it?

In some way you pay for it. Like the old saying, There's nothing FREE about a free lunch.
