Personally invested in Tron, Cardano and Electroneum with the plan to move profits into Bitcoin to accumulate the big guy....probably will move into Etherium as well.
I own those as well, love Cardano

I keep looking for a bank that still allows the purchase of crypto's without freezing your account. Any suggestions?
Also, your advice on how to (legally) minimize our tax liability upon the spending or sale of our crypto's would be appreciated.

With blockchain and it's ability to decentralize data, trust will soon be obsolete.
It would take away the need for a centralized entity to prove who you are, it would take away the need for the government to verify your passport because it would be on a non corruptible ledger.
How far do you think this technology could go in eroding the need for government, I know it certainly has the potential to do the greatest things but do you think the masses will have the courage to adopt and have trust in it and take the power away from the man?
