How's this for a theory.... I know if I was Trump, it would be in my best interest to save some major promises to be resolved right before the next election. So arresting Hillary and podesta right before the next election may just be the ace up trumps sleeve to get him in for his second term. That's what I would have planned as my strategy, because not only will he be keeping his promise, but that could be the final nail in the coffin for the Democratic Party. And when would be the best time to destroy your opponent? Right before the next election. And with ppl coming forward like oprah Winfrey as potentially the next candidate, who is a serious threat if she gets the nomination, trump needs to be a few moves ahead at all times. Actually if I were Trump, I'd start the smear campaigns on Oprah right now, get ppl working overtime finding out where her money leads, where her money comes from, tax returns etc. And start showing her for who she really is, and it's in my opinion that he starts this right now.
