That Oscar bullshit, in their estimation, was what writers like to call an 'allegory'. It was an attempt at showing what they felt should have happened with the election, i.e. 'Trump lost the popular vote, should have handed win over to Hillary.' No, I don't think he lost the popular vote, but I guarantee if the thing was staged (and it probably was), that's what they were going for.

If NASA FAKED the Moon Landing, and we know they fake pictures of the blue marble, they lie about everything . . . why would we believe they have seen new planets? They are reliably unreliable - don't fall for their bull crap

Space may be the final fontier but it's filmed in a hollywood basement - Stanley Kubrick with the help of George Lucas staged the entire thing in a studio. Kubrick made several allusions to this in The Shining and he died mysteriously shortly after this disclosure

I'm a firm believer in a lot of conspiracy theories, but the faked Moon landing is one that I somehow can never get myself to believe.
However, I will admit that there would have been a huge motive to fake the landings (wanting to beat the Russians).
It's a bit strange that we haven't been back since. After the cancellation of the Apollo program, we started to focus on just putting spacecraft in orbit around the Earth, when we should have been looking further.
If the moon landing is fake, there is nothing we can do to fight that. Best to focus on the things we at least stand a chance of changing.
